The famous OKtrackXC.com Coaches Poll will be released next Tuesday. Coaches’ vote for the top 10 individuals and the top 5 teams in there class. New this year will be the Power Poll, which will be the top 10 individuals in the state and the top 5 teams in the state. All coaches are encouraged to vote and all votes most be emailed to matt@oktrackxc.com by 7 p.m. on Monday.
AAU National Junior Olympics and USATF National Junior Olympics being held this week in TN (AAU) and CA (USATF) this week are providing live webcasts of the meet through the week. Here are the links:

Kylie Spurgeon was the lone Oklahoma girl to make the team. Spurgeon is a SR. from Owasso and made the team as a thrower. Three Oklahoma boys made the team. Gil Roberts of Milwood made the team as a sprinter, Derrick Locke of Hugo made the team as a jumper, and Geoffrey Tabor was the only JR to make the team in the throws. Oklahoma track and field athletes had a great showing at the Nike Outdoor Nationals. Gil Roberts 1st place 400 meters Geoffrey Tabor 4th place Discus 180-11 8th place Shot 59-09.00 Kevin Schwab 3rd place Steeple 5:57.55 33rd place 2 mile 9:16.79 Aaron Goble 22nd place Steeple 6:26
Mustang’s Kevin Schwab finished 2nd at the USA Junior Championships in the 10,000 meter run. Schwab ran a time of 30:56.75. Kenny Klotz of the University of Oregon won the race in 30:51.75.
