Freshman David Chirchir, from Eldoret, Kenya, picked up his third win of the season; with the two previous coming in the 3000 meter steeplechase. Chirchir, competing with the aggie track club, ran a time of 8:44 in the 3000 meter event and won by 15 seconds over second place in the John Jacobs Invitational, which is held on the University of Oklahoma's Campus. Up next for the Aggies is the TCU Invitational in Fort Worth, Texas on Saturday, April 22nd.
