The in season mile night has brought some great memories for athletes year in and year out. We have seen some crazy fast times, and every year it brings an amazing environment for the community. It's a great opportunity to chase in season personal bests with a meet that only focuses on the one mile race.
Due to the great environment it provides, we have seen some very strong times these past handful of years. Last year we saw a 4:21.26 from Mez Barth out of Stillwater. Many of the top ten were seniors, but a few returners featured Mason Storozyszyn, Isaiah Blevins, and Micah John. Will these returns race again this year? We will have to see. I have a feeling the winning time will be faster this year.
In 2025, Natalie Duggan won the elite mile in her time of 5:01.87. This was a very strong performance that featured multiple of the state's best. Some key returners in that race are Brooke Collins, Gwen Pierce, Leah North, and Addelyn Hart. I'm looking forward to seeing what the top times ...
