Not only this, we have also seen a state record already go down in the shot put. March has been a great start to the outdoor season and has surely set the tone for the rest of the year. Bella Nelson (Owasso):

The cross country state champ, Bella Nelson has started her outdoor season strong. She is ranked 30th in the country with a time of 2:12.35 in the 800m, placing 5th overall at the Texas Distance Festival. This is her second time running 2:12 this season. She is also ranked 97th in the nation at the 1600m distance with a time of 5:02.25 at the Union Redhawk Opener on March 1st.
