Last Cross Country season was sensational! We saw some very fast times throughout the season and some impressive post season performances as well. Even though a few of the state's best have graduated, there is still a ton of very strong runners in the field this fall.
The top 5 returners are Sylvie Harper from Bishop McGuinness, Courtney Occhiuzzo from Chisholm, Charlotte Tangren from Jenks, Molly Missildine from Edmond Memorial, and Lauryn Krebs from Edmond Memorial.
Harper leads the way with a 17:43.50 at Chile Pepper. She is set to run very well once again with multiple low 18 times and a strong track season.
Occhiuzzo had an incredible track season. It is very likely that her 17:54 last season is much faster this fall. The incoming sophomore is set to be quite the force on the national stage.
Charlotte Tangren had a consistent first XC season last fall. She is going to be a sophomore this fall, and is going to be in a position to race against strong competition each meet....
