Walnut Park Cross Country Meet
DATE: Friday, October 2nd 2026
TIME: Coaches meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. First race starts at 9:30am
LOCATION: Walnut Park
1505 N. Jay St.
Claremore, OK 74017
REGISTRATION: Coaches, you register your entries on
ok.milesplit.com/meets/767075 to compete! The deadline is
Wednesday, August 30 at 5:00pm. At the coaches meeting,
you will receive a packet with bibs/chips and a roster. Athletes
must wear the correct bib to get a result.
DIRECTIONS: Walnut Park:
Take Highway 66 to Blue Star Drive, go west on Blue Star Drive,
Go north on Jay Street about one quarter of a mile, Walnut
Park will be on the west side of the road.
Pecan Park:
Take Highway 66 to Blue Star Drive, go west on Blue Star Drive,
drive one half of a mile and the entrance will be on the right
side of the road.
PARKING: Drop your athletes off at Pecan Park, AND PARK AT PECAN
PARK. No busses will be parked at Walnut Park. Walk by the
softball field concession stand to the walking bridge to enter
walnut park.
DIVISIONS: H.S. Boys, H.S. Girls, J.V Boys (unlimited), J.V. Girls (unlimited)
J.H. Girls (unlimited), J.H. Boys (unlimited). Junior high is 8th
grade and below.
DISTANCE: All H.S. Boys 5K, 5A-6A H.S. Girls 5K, 4A Below Girls 2Mile, All
J.H. Divisions 2 mile
ENTRY FEE: $100 varsity girls, $100 varsity boys
$85 J.H. girls, $85 J.H. boys
$20 per runner if less than 7 runners
AWARDS: Top 30 receive medals in Varsity/J.V., and J.H.
First place team in the varsity division will receive a plaque.

9:30 H.S./J.V Girls (5K)
10:00 H.S./J.V. Boys (5K)
10:30 H.S./J.V. Girls (2 Miles)
11:00 J.H. Girls (2 Miles)
