In the 5A girl's race Union upset the field as they had a 10 point victory over Jenks, due in part to the one-two finish of Ina Ables and Union teammate, Andrea Alonso, with times of 11:51 and 12:00. Finishing 3rd and 4th was the Westmoore duo of Christina Peters and Katelin Cherry with times of 12:02 and 12:15.

Mustang's Kevin Schwab took the lead early and never looked back in the 5A boy's race. He produced a winning time of 15:45, which was the fastest of the day for all classes and lead his team to a first place finish with an 11 point victory over Jenks. Also helping Mustang to their victory was 16th place Josh Yax, who lost one shoe early in the race and then proceeded to continue the race and run well with one shoe and a sock. Finishing runner-up was Mitch Ownby from Yukon with a 16:24.
