Oklahoma high school track and field athletes posted multiple personal records at meets during the week of March 23.
Amelia Ochoa (Del City) ran 12.60 in the 100 meters at the Sabercat Relays on March 27, improving from her previous best of 14.46 set in March 2026. The sophomore finished second out of 31 competitors and ranks 89th in the state and 15th among Oklahoma sophomores.
Thomas Jackson (Sulphur) threw 46-5.25 in the shot put at the Brandon Jacks Memorial Invitational on March 27, improving from his previous mark of 36-2.5. The junior placed fourth out of 35 competitors and ranks 110th in the state and ninth among Oklahoma juniors.
Khali Grant (Choctaw) jumped 22-10 in the long jump at the Elgin 9/HS Owl Classic on March 26, improving from his previous best of 19-9. Grant finished second out of 12 competitors, set a Choctaw High School record, and ranks 15th in the state.
Kailee Green (Duncan) ran 12.33 in the 100 meters at the Elgin 9/HS Owl Classic on March 26, improving from her previous time of 13.09. The sophomore placed 10th out of 54 competitors and ranks 46th in the state and eighth among Oklahoma sophomores. Green also set a personal record in the 200 meters with 26.99, improving from 27.23.
Fathia Wilson (Westmoore) ran 15.91 in the 100-meter hurdles at the Union Redhawk Varsity Invitational on March 28, improving from her previous time of 17.03. Wilson finished fourth out of 17 competitors and ranks 25th in the state. She also recorded a personal best in the 300-meter hurdles with 46.08, improving from 47.86.
Derek Templeton (Jones) ran 10.85 in the 100 meters at the Jack Hayes Invitational on March 27, improving from his previous time of 11.45. The sophomore won the event out of 50 competitors and ranks 57th in the state and eighth among Oklahoma sophomores.
Isaiah Ross Gonzalez (Eisenhower) ran 10.61 in the 100 meters at the Elgin 9/HS Owl Classic on March 26, improving from his previous time of 11.15. Gonzalez finished third out of 79 competitors and ranks 16th in the state.
