In the sprints, MacArthur's Quinton Mask made a clear early-season statement with a 10.52 at the Elgin Night Owl Meet-setting the pace statewide in the 100. Sapulpa sophomore Xyler Singleton is showing star potential, clocking a 10.76 in the 100 and backing it up with a 22.28 in the 200. Holland Hall's Blayze Buchanan has emerged as one of the most versatile sprinters in the class, sitting atop the 200 rankings at 22.20 and posting a top-five mark in the 400 with a 51.06. Duncan's Sawyer Rice and CJ Wright from Lincoln Christian are also in the mix, giving their teams reliable low-end sprint firepower.
