This weekend is a big week for Oklahoma high school cross country. It is the start of a full weekend of running that will set-off the rest of the season.
One of the more competitive early season meets will be at Deer Creek. Deer Creek has become one of the best distance programs not only in the OKC area, the state of Oklahoma, but also regionally and nationally recognized.
That is great for them and really shows how much effort they've put into elevating the program. However, this year and out of the gate at their own meet, some of Oklahoma's best are looking to step up, line up, and getting it going from week one.
Check out the meet entries and see which teams are competing as well as the individual meet entries for each race.
