2024 OK High School Indoor Championship: Relays

4x800m Relay

The Boys 4x800m has two sections with both being finals and is projected to start at 1:50pm. Section A is the faster of the two, and the three teams to watch are Edmond Memorial High School seeded in at 8:00.00, Piedmont High School (8:00.61), and Broken Arrow High School (8:04.00). With these three teams leading the charge, this race is set to be a good one.

The Girls 4x800m has 12 teams entered with 2 notable entries sticking out from the rest. The Lady Trojans of Jenks are entered at 9:36.70 and look to be the runaway favorites. The second fastest entry is the women from Piedmont seeded at 9:59.34. These two teams look to have the top 2 spots on the podium secured with the rest of the field fighting for the final spot.

Boys 4x400m

The Boys 4x400m will conclude the action on the men's side for our second annual Oklahoma HS Indoor State Championship. The top section has 5 teams all seeded at or below 3:25 led by Sprint powerhouse Tulsa Union seeded at 3:18.61 followed closely behind by the Tigers of Broken Arrow at 3:19.00. Will this race decide the team championship?

The Girls 4x400m will be the final event of the day at the 2024 Oklahoma Indoor HS State Championships. This event should be the perfect finale for a long day of racing at the Mosier Indoor Facility. The runaway favorites are the women of Tulsa Union High School with a 3:52.35 but after a long day of racing anything can happen during the fireworks and high energy of the mile relay. Other teams entered and on the prowl to dethrone Union are Broken Arrow (4:02), Jenks (4:03), Owasso (4:05)
