This Week's Nominees:
Landon Eubank, Dickson High School (Oklahoma): A 16:08.98 clocking over 5K was good for the win among 137 finishers at ECU Tiger Chase, with 32.5 seconds separating first from second. The mark ranks No. 3 of 2,016 athletes in MileSplit's database at this course since 2019.
Keon Lackey, Weatherford High School (Oklahoma): Crossing first among 122 finishers at CCS XC, the junior covered 5K in 16:50.30 and separated from the runner-up by 41.0 seconds. The time sits at No. 7 of 675 athletes in MileSplit's database at Community Christian School Activity Center since 2019.
Jayden Polk, Purcell High School (Oklahoma): The win at the Lindsay Cross Country Jungle Run came in 16:51.41 for 5K, well clear of a 62-runner field by 49.8 seconds. That's 16.3 seconds faster than a prior mark on this course and stands as the fastest in MileSplit's database at Lindsay Municipal Golf Course since 2023, among 85 athletes.
Ryan Walker, Moore High School (Oklahoma): Placing second among 121 finishers at the #R4RYK Festival, the junior covered 5K in 15:54.90, a time 2.7 seconds faster than the prior mark on this course. The performance ranks No. 2 of 904 athletes in MileSplit's database at First Moore Baptist Church since 2019.
Ty Brooks, Lincoln Christian School (Oklahoma): The senior crossed first out of 321 finishers at the Midseason Meet of Champions, covering the 5K in 15:50.00 and holding off the runner-up by 5.0 seconds.
