Edmond Memorial post race interview
The Edmond Memorial boys are big time.
They won the 2025 Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in the 4x800 relay. They not only ran some of the best teams in the Lone Star state, but they also beat top teams from California, Louisiana, North Carolina, as well as the New Balance Indoor Nationals champions St. John's College High School team from Washington, DC.
Cam Stuckless, Karson Pillow, Zach Lewis, and Harry Ormiston teamed to shock the excited Texas Relays crowd in Mike A. Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas.
The started off with a 1:58.11 first leg that put them in a good and competitive position as the handed off in fourth place. A 1:55.84 second leg improved their position by the second exchange and with a overall time of 3:53.94, they would continue to pace under the 8-minute barrier. Their race positioning also improved as they moved up a spot.

With a third leg split of 1:56.44, their time heading into the final baton carry was 5:50.38 and all they needed was a 1:59 to get under 7:50. Things were better than an average leg as they got a 1:54.84 carry on the anchor to improve their standing and timing.
Their winning time was 7:45.21, leading the way for eight boys teams to run 8-flat and under.
