March's Best Performances So Far: Oklahoma Boys
March has seen many great performances so far for Oklahoma athletes. With most beginning their outdoor season, and some putting the finishing touches on their indoor seasons, this month has seen some noteworthy times and marks. Whether it's nationally ranked performances, state records, or state leads, we've seen it all this month.
Kyler Brown (Oklahoma Cheetahs/Booker T. Washington):
Brown won the 60m National Championship at the New Balance Indoor Nationals on March 16th. His time of 6.61 not only broke his own Oklahoma State Record, but is also a US #1 time for the year. Brown also ran 21.11 in the 200m at this meet as well. He placed 2nd in the prelims but chose to scratch the finals. This time has him as the number one indoor 200m time in the history of OK high school track and field. He finishes his indoor season in the 200m ranked 11th in the US as well.
