Oklahoma All Time Boys Distance Outdoor Marks

As we gear up for the 2025 track season it's important to look back at previous marks to see where this year's athletes line up. In this article we focus on the distance events (800, 1600, 3200). Although our rankings are not perfect, they do give the vast majority of recorded times. These rankings also include marks ran in the summer, usually after an athlete has graduated. Although those times won't count towards state records, they are still included in these rankings. 

2024 was a record breaking year for the distance events. With Joshua Rammage out of Southmoore breaking the long awaited 800m state record and Brody Woodcock out of Deer Creek unofficially breaking the 1600m state record. Although these athletes have graduated, there are a handful of runners still eligible to put their names at the top. 

Based off of last years results Noah Thayer, Harry Ormiston, and Samuel Russell are your top athletes coming into the season in the 800 meters. It is likely that they will both push their way farther towards the top. 

In the 1600m Thayer also leads the returners with a 9th place ranking. A storyline to watch out for this season is if he can break into the top 5. 

The 3200m sees Cameron Langdon and Zachary Williams leading currently returners. This is something to take note of as both are coming off of strong state xc performances. Williams has definitely taken the leap during cross country last fall, so it will be a fun storyline to follow how he manages to continue that consistency.
