Oklahoma's Boys Performer Of The Week (9/30-10/06)

After a fast back half of September, this past week things cooled down a bit. Despite this there were still a lot of great performances across the state. Follow down below to see who won last week's performer of the week and who is up for this week's competition.

Mez Barth from Stillwater is your champion for last week!!!

Now to this week's nominees:

Dathan Custer (Woodward 11):

Custer ran 16:08 at OBA to finish 1st overall. Coming off a great performance at Cowboy Jamboree, Custer is a threat when it comes time for the state championship race.

Ira Gikas (Enduro Legacy HS 12):

Gikas won the Owasso invitational in a time of 16:36. A major win for the senior!

Cameron Langdon (Mustang 12):

Langdon won the Norman invitational in a time of 16:21. Langdon had a great run at Chili Pepper, and its good to see him follow that up with a win.

Mason Storozyszyn (Deer Creek 9):

Storozyszyn ran a 9:59 2 mile at the Deer Creek Invitational in the freshman/sophomore boys division. He won his race handily and he is an athlete to watch out for in the future.

Mez Barth (Stillwater 12):

Barth once again continued his great season with a time of 9:28 in the 2 mile at the Deer Creek Invitational in the junior/senior boys division. He won his race handily.
