ECU Tigers 15th in the Nation

The East Central University Tigers go from being ranked 4th in the region to 15th in the nation, after a phenomenal performance at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree. The Tigers finished 14th and beat former number 14 Central Missouri by 34 points. This is the highest ranking the tigers have ever had in their history. Head Coach Susan Payne is excited yet still knows there is work to be done, "We had a great race at OSU and beat a couple of regional teams ranked ahead of us so I knew we had a chance to be ranked this week. I never dreamed we'd break in so high. I am very proud of the guys and the work they have been doing. Our 3-6 guys are really running well which helps our team score so much. We know that all that really matters, though, is how we run on November 5th." For a complete list of the rankings go to NCAA DII Poll.
