Josserand Highlights Weekend for Cowboy Track Team

FORT WORTH, Texas. -
Oklahoma State junior Terry Josserand highlighted the weekend for the Cowboy track team with his strong performance at the TCU Relays on Saturday.

Josserand set a new personal record in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 52.29. The Owasso, Okla., native achieved his previous high mark of 52.32 just three weeks ago at the Texas Relays in Austin, Texas making him the fourth Cowboy to qualify for NCAA Regionals this season.

Also for the Pokes, three runners competed in the Oregon Invitational in Eugene, Ore. Cowboy junior David Pomies, along with sophomores Alejandro Ruiz and Brian Gosnell, ran in the 5,000-meter run. Ruiz finished 15th in his section with a time of 14:37.55 while Pomies' time of 15:05.74 was good for a 28th-place finish. Gosnell, a Tahlequah, Okla., native, finished 17th in his section with a time of 15:14.07.

The Cowboys will travel to Joplin, Mo., on Friday to compete in the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational hosted by Missouri Southern State University.
