"As a group, this is probably the best meet we have ever run," said Cowboy assistant coach Dave Smith. "I feel like we have some guys who are running well enough to challenge for some top spots in the conference."

On Friday, other members of the team were in Fayetteville, Ark., competing in the Arkansas Tyson Invitational.

At that meet, junior Daniel McLemore finished 29th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.91 and junior Terry Josserand finished 33rd in the 400-meter run with a time of 49.01.
