This Week's Nominees:
Saniya Craven, Glenpool High School (Oklahoma): Swept the sprints and long jump at the 2026 Metro Lakes HS Conference Track Meet, clocking 11.50 in the 100m and 24.41 in the 200m while jumping 19-6. Won all three events against large fields, taking the 100m over 25 other competitors and the 200m in a field of 29.
Camrin Jones, Dewey High School (Oklahoma): Won the high jump at the OSSAA 3A/4A - Chisholm Regional with a clearance of 5-8, topping a field of 22 competitors. Also placed second in the long jump with a mark of 18-2.
Aniston Marks, Oklahoma Christian School (Oklahoma): Posted 24.64 to win the 200m at the OSSAA 3A/4A - Chisholm Regional in a competitive field of 53 runners. The top junior in Oklahoma in the 100m, she also ran 12.41 for second place in that event.
Aracelie Chavez, Clinton High School (Oklahoma): Threw 134-9 to win the discus at the OSSAA 1A/4A - Plainview Regional, the top junior mark in the state this season. Also competed in the shot put at the 2026 Dennis Seifried Weatherford HS Invitational, placing fifth with 35-11.25.
Reese Harjo, Oklahoma Christian School (Oklahoma): Captured the long jump at the OSSAA 3A/4A - Chisholm Regional with a leap of 18-8, beating state-ranked Camrin Jones who finished second at 18-2. The top sophomore in Oklahoma in the long jump also placed third in the 200m with a time of 26.10.
