Garrett Schulze (Norman) threw 166-0 in the discus at the 9th Grade COAC Championship on April 28, improving from his previous best of 125-1 set in April 2026. The freshman ranks #13 in Oklahoma and #4 among freshmen in the state after finishing second of 26 competitors.
Mackenzie Hedges (Dewey) cleared 5-6 in the high jump at the OSSAA 3A/4A Chisholm Regional on May 2, bettering her previous mark of 5-2. The junior moved to #3 in Oklahoma and #1 among juniors with her second-place finish among 22 competitors.
Sophie Helling (Inola) ran 2:20.31 in the 800 meters at the OSSAA 1A/4A Jay Regional on May 2, dropping from her previous best of 2:29.53 set in April 2026. The freshman set a school record while placing fourth of 50 competitors and now ranks #15 in Oklahoma and #7 among freshmen.
Michael Hurren (Yukon) won the discus at the 9th Grade COAC Championship with a throw of 166-8, improving from 126-9 set in April 2026. The freshman ranks #11 in Oklahoma and #3 among freshmen after his victory over 26 competitors.
Luke McCord (Santa Fe) threw 164-0 in the discus at the 9th Grade COAC Championship, improving from his previous best of 127-8. The freshman placed third of 26 competitors and ranks #17 in Oklahoma and #5 among freshmen.
Tessa Navratil (Covington-Douglas) ran 16.09 in the 100-meter hurdles at the OSSAA 1A/2A Cherokee Regional on May 2, improving from 16.93. The junior set a school record while winning the event among 23 competitors and also ran a personal best 48.23 in the 300-meter hurdles, down from 48.86.
Sydney Haines (Bethany) ran 12.72 in the 100 meters at the Dennis Seifried Weatherford Invitational on April 28, improving from 13.34. The junior finished third of 73 competitors and ranks #104 in Oklahoma.
