On a cold North Texas night in the second weekend of January, Coppell senior Evan Caswell brought the heat to the track by blazing a 4:19.83 1600m PR.
At the North Texas Winter 1600, Caswell led eight boys to run 4:29 and better on a night that saw tons of PRs across the board.
Also running impressively was Mansfield Summit senior Jackson Cichon 4:23.39, Marcus senior Greyson Gravitt, Cedar Park senior Jack Woods (4:25.18), and Deer Creek (Oklahoma) junior AJ Antonelli (4:25.34) to round out the top five finishers.
