D3 Poll Results: Taylor Roth Secures The Nod


Thank you to the close to 900 people who weighed-in on who will take the 2020 Division 3 girls individual state meet win! 

The polls have closed and the votes have been counted ~ Minster sophomore, Taylor Roth gets the nod by collecting 31% of the votes cast (279 in total). 

Roth was a model of consistency as a freshman, running sub 20 minutes in seven of her ten race starts, with four of those marks being under 19:30. She produced a season's best effort of 19:01.24 at the Midwest Athletic Conference Championships and was the 17th place finisher at the OHSAA State Championship meet. Roth figures to be instrumental in helping her Minster team chase another Division 3 title this season. 

On the team side, it was the squad from Woodmore who the fans think will be raising the trophy on November 7th. They earned 162 votes, which accounted for 39% of the total count. The group from Woodmore reside in the No. 9 spot in our pre-season rankings and they finished 12th overall at the 2019 state meet

Division 3 Girls Voting Results



For Division 3 boys, it all boiled down to Cedarville, as they took both the team and individual honors. 

Senior, Ethan Wallis earned just under 25% of the votes to pocket the top spot. He was 8th at last year's state meet and posted a 2019 season's best mark of 16:07.10 at Saturday Night Lights

Wallis and his teammates secured over 28% of the vote to claim the team distinction. They're ranked third in our pre-season breakdown, following their 5th place effort in the standings at the 2019 state meet
