Dulaney Coach Chad Boyle Stepping Down After 23 Years

Interview with Coach Boyle at Dulaney during a 2015 fall workout visit.

Chad Boyle, cross country and track coach at Dulaney High School for the past 23 years, has decided to step down from his position prior to the upcoming cross country season. Boyle is one of the state's most respected and accomplished distance coaches over recent years including his boys squad winning back to back Maryland 4A state cross country team titles in 2015 and 2016.

Their men's and women's programs have annually been competing for Baltimore County titles in cross country and track under his leadership, so it will be a major loss for the school no longer having Boyle at the helm.

Coach Boyle does not consider it a permanent retirement from coaching as has not ruled out an eventual return to high school coaching, but for the time being is going to take a break to pursue other life interests.

We wish Coach Boyle the best on his next adventures and congratulations on an amazing 23 year run helping to build one of the state's top programs at Dulaney High School.
